Multiple community events planned over the course of a week culminating with the Military Appreciation Football Game to recognize our military members, veterans, and their families for their service to our nation and their selfless sacrifice.  This year’s theme for Military Appreciation Week is the Korean War.

Veterans Day Ceremony

A ceremony to memorialize Veterans Day which will include a Color Guard, guest speakers, and the rendering of Taps to recognize the service of our veterans in the U.S. Armed Forces, past and present.

November 11, 2020 1100AM, Virtual, University Park Campus

POW/MIA Ceremony
Ceremony

A ceremony to memorialize those who were Prisoners of War (POW) or who are still listed as Missing in Action (MIA) from America’s wars and conflicts.  The ceremony will include a Color Guard, guest speakers, setting of the POW/MIA remembrance table, the rendering of Taps, and a 24-hour vigil.
